playing hooky to feed my soul.

Oliver hasn't been feeling so well.  His preschool teachers noticed on Tuesday and as soon as he got in the car he fell asleep.  So I kept him home today. We did something on mommy's to-do list since the beginning of the month.

It had been a while since our sliding doors had got some love.

They were long overdue.

I painted the trunk, he painted the leaves.

Mommy got in on the action and painted a print she saw on an etsy thank you card from a favorite illustrator.

It fed my soul.  Is that weird?  Oliver and I painting together side by side, listening to The Innocence Mission station on Pandora --- tommy snoozing away upstairs.

Favorite moment of the week.  month?

oooh! I love this! What kinda paint do you use? Just poster paint? I need to get an Oriental Trading paint hook up before CHristmas, I am pretty sure.

Cool idea!

I love those little moments with the little men in our lives :)

Jess -- just regular old tempera paint or the cheap craft pain in the little bottles from the craft store. We love painting on the windows. It cleans up really easy with a warm washcloth and soapy water.

What a great idea. I might have to borrow this one for next year!
