Alrighty. Here are some updates for you, just so you know we aren't slacking. I have better before shots, but these couple will have to do for now.
The Before Living Room - peach carpet, yellowed walls, torn down orange drapes. Also you can see the torn out laminate kitchen.
Do you like those dining room chairs???
in progress: crisp white walls and natural oak floors.

what it would look like with a camera case cord in the way.
Before Family room -- just tore down the wood paneling on the right -- I have a picture of the true before somewhere too--, stained brick fireplace, that lovely peach carpet, dirty flower power drapes
In progress --- opening cut out, old drywall taken off, primer starts to go on fireplace, carpet ripped out, subfloor laid for hardwood. We had to lay a ply wood subfloor down there because it is concrete underneath and you have to have something for the staples and nails to go into to. Recessed lighting goes in.
Most recent in progress: Fireplace gets the final coat, new drywall up, opening finished,
wood stacked and ready to go....
WE are tired.
Sooooo much more to do.

Progress...how exciting!! Everything is looking fabulous..well done! i love how the painted fireplace makes the room look so much happier! Your house may feel like a construction zone for a while but it will be well worth it!~ Keep up the good work!
