The de-lamination of our kitchen

A couple good friends came over to help gut out the kitchen.  It all took one evening.  This was a couple weeks ago.  It looks totally different from this already -- the laminate floors are now up and gone, the bulkhead is torn down and re-drywalled and  and most of the wall with the arched doorway is gone.

I have more pictures to share later sometime, but I need to get the boys and I ready for a trip down to Baltimore with their cousins.  We are touring David's company ship and having lunch in the ship cafeteria.

I will leave you with a nice sweaty picture of Mormor to enjoy.

told you so.

Woohoo! That must have been A.LOT of work! I bet it feels good to have a clean slate to work with now ;0) I think that light fixture is fabulous! :0) Did it come with the casa??

yes, beck, we are so fortunate to not live there. What would we do without a sink, fridge, oven or countertops??? yikes. I guess somewhere people do that but luckily I have in-laws that live about 10 minutes from our new place.

Tenille --- yes, it came with the house. There are REALLY cool light fixtures in this house. Too bad they are all very very feminine! I think we will keep up the one in our bedroom and possibly the dining room.
