A couple months ago Dave was standing by his closet and I was near him in our bedroom looking in the mirror when I said,
"I don't feel like a complete fatso anymore"
To which he replied,
"You don't?"
HA HA HA HA HA haaaaaaaa! I still laugh out loud at that every time I replay it in my head. I don't know why it strikes me sooo hilarious, but it just is to me. I am still chuckling as I write it. Little mama tries to lose weight and starts to feel okay about herself and BAM! just like that, all confidence gone. not really. but we both had a good laugh that day.

Hee hee hee... That is pretty funny. Now I see why Lenny and Dave get along. That sounds exactly like something Lenny would have said.

I really don't think he meant it to sound that bad but we both looked at each other and just busted out laughing....
I'm laughing so hard right now! Oh gosh...I think I've had the same conversation with his brother! "You Don't" was quickly followed by "I mean yeah, you look good" boys boys boys!
That is hilarious.
It reminds me of the day when Jason said, "Wow, you look so good, you have really lost a lot of weight. And you say you still want to lose more? Where would you lose it from? You thighs? They are pretty big still." Or something like that.

I feel like a fatso and sometimes I wish Ben would say somethign like that to me instead of saying, "do you want some more ice cream???"
Your comments are precious!!! I always say: "Don't ever ASK your husband for a compliment, or even go onto that sensitive subject. Most of the time they will not say what you want to hear. They don't realize what they are supposed to say!" But they really love you very much.AND in their minds you are VERY beautiful AND attractive. I am sure David was thinking of something else. Like what to wear since he was standing in his closet.
I forgot to say: Then think about the times when your husbands actually did give you a compliment. Laughing is the best.
