The mail.
Did you know that the church's address is our address??? I didn't know that until we started receiving a bajillion pieces of mail addressed to the SUSQUEHANNA ward. No mail goes to the church because no one is there to receive it. All church mail goes to the bishop's house.
The above picture was what I came home to about a week and a half ago. All the new materials for 2010 on the side of our front stoop. I promptly loaded them into the Cherokee after noticing the impending rainclouds.
About 1 in every 25 packages left on our doorstep are actually for someone in our family.
I think it makes us look totally important. And mysterious.

oh, that's awesome! At home business? One of those envelope stuffers? Mary Kay lady? Running a drug cartel? Building bombs at home? Gosh, the possibilities for quotes on this picture are endless. Oh, well... it could just be diapers.com :) LOL
hey jess! great ideas! if those were diapers or drugs they were either already filled diapers or some super heavy drugs. Those boxes weighed at least 50 pounds a piece.

LOL!!!! How fun! I love getting packages even when their not for me...the suspence will kill me until the owner of the package finally opens it!!!! It is like Christmas, I HAVE to know! When I was little I would open everyones mail just because I couldn't handle not knowing what was in there...lol! AND I would totally be the neighbor peeking out my window and wispering about what your mysterious packages could be : )
I really hope you have snoopy neighbors who crack their blinds and eye you as you carry in all your boxes. Watch out for seemingly harmless inquiries..."lots of mail?" "you need a hand?" "I brought you some muffins." or even "how are you?" careful, they're onto you!!
