Scene one: My sister and I talking on the phone last Friday afternoon.
Cort: Did you see The Black Eyed Peas on Oprah??
Me: no
Cort: You didn't ?? You have got to get on youtube and check it out, it was awesome. Just get on there and type in Black Eyed Peas on Oprah and call me later after you've seen it.
Me: okay, but it will be later because I don't have time right now.
Cort: Okay, just watch it.
Scene Two: David and I laying on our bed Friday night watching Flight of the Conchord youtube clips on his laptop.
Me: HA HA HA HAhhhhhaaaaaa, these guys are hilarious.
David: Hahahahhhhahhaaaa, Brahbrah..... ha ha ha
Me: Oh, hey, my sister told me that we need to look up something.
David: what?
Me: Black Eyed Peas on Oprah
David: Huh????
Me: Apparently it was Oprah's New Season Kickoff Party and it was really cool.
David: I am not watching that.
Me: What do you mean? She said it was really cool.
David: What do you want me to type in again?
Me: Black Eyed Peas on Oprah
David: Really? You are serious? That's gross.
Me: What's the deal????
David: Black Guy Pees on Oprah?????
Me:..............?????? ............... BAH-ha ha ha hhha---- HA HA!!!!! HA HAhhahahhahahaaa!!!!
(rolling around on my bed holding my sides for seriously like FIVE WHOLE MINUTES.)
I said it to him clearly again and he realized what he had misheard. Then we watched it. ha ha ha.....

That was really awesome.
I love how Oprah's jaw dropped and she kept trying to catch it all on her camera phone. I'm pretty sure they'll have footage available for her since they were FILMING it for her TELEVISION SHOW.

YEah, I thought that was funny that Oprah was trying to record it on her phone. I am sure she was getting some kind of kickback from her cell phone company. and then she twittered about it... and changed her status on facebook to say " dude, that was a rad dance that chicago just did for me"

That is the FUNNIEST thing ever! I would have died laughing too.
I was a little concerned that my Bishop was an anti-Oprah-phite...not that I am a huge Oprah fan, but somehow I was put off by the thought that Dave hated Oprah...But since he just didn't want to see any one peeing on Oprah, that is ok!
