Me, The Dirty Old Woman

We opted for the fancy china and Swedish dessert forks to do justice to the from-scratch chocolate-mousse cupcakes we ate last night. I donned my birthday apron given to me by my good friend, Jennilyn and we all chatted casually and enjoyed a simple night of celebration. The locals came by.... an impromptu gathering arranged the night before.

BFF, Melissa, came by earlier in the day to gift my backside with
cranberry cheesecake bars and a delicious whipped pumpkin dessert that I ate all.day.long.

I am not kidding.

David even invited his liberal arts professor. wink wink.
And after our guests said their goodbyes, my husband and I were washing the fine china and dessert forks as he mentioned to me that he had never kissed a dirty old woman.

A WHAT?????? I said.

I punched his arm a dozen times and gave him a couple rib jabs.

A WHAT A WHAT???????? I said over and over as I jumped on his back and tried my best to put him in a headlock.

When he finally stopped laughing he repeated himself.

I said I have never kissed a thirty year old woman before.

Oh. I said.

woops. I thought you said dirty old woman.

more laughs. hearty laughs.

and then he kissed me, the dirty, thirty year old woman.

You guys are so cute. That's pretty funny. I don't think you're that dirty though. :)

Glad you had a good birthday.

sometimes its fun just to attack someone cuz they might have said something. It's wonderful to have people in your life you can attack safely.

Happy Birthday! Looks like you had a fun one. And by the way...I tried the torillas. They were delicious! Thanks for inspiring me to create. ( I actually thought of you during Uchdorf's talk. You are always creating!)
